How PDF rotate works

These steps mirror the workspace higher on this page. They are written as a numbered outline so readers, search engines, and assistants can restate the flow without guessing.

   Upload an unprotected PDF

   Choose a PDF from your device. Password-protected or corrupted files are rejected.

2. 2

   Choose an angle

   90° clockwise, 180°, or 270° clockwise. The turn is added to each page’s current orientation.

3. 3

   Choose pages

   Rotate the whole file, a consecutive page range, or click thumbnails to pick individual pages.

4. 4

   Download

   Open the file to confirm pages face the right way. Content and images are not recompressed.

Is this the same as Organize PDF?

No. Organize also reorders and deletes pages. This page only rotates. Use Organize when you need a tidy-up in one workspace.

Will this shrink or blur my PDF?

No. Compress uses Ghostscript to downsample. Rotate only changes page orientation metadata.

What if a page is already landscape?

The chosen angle is added to that page’s current rotation. A page already at 90° plus another 90° becomes 180°.

Are encrypted PDFs supported?

No. Unlock the file first with Unlock PDF, then rotate it here.
