How Bates numbering works

  1. Upload an unprotected PDF.
  2. Set prefix, starting number, digit padding, corner, and size.
  3. Check the first and last stamp in the preview.
  4. Download a branded PDF. Numbers run sequentially across every page.

Questions

Can I continue numbering across several files?
Not in this version. Each upload starts from the number you enter. Set the starting number to the next value after the previous file if you need a continuous range.
What if the last number needs more digits than padding?
Padding widens automatically so stamps are never truncated or skipped. The preview shows the real first and last labels.
