Sign and image tools
Place a signature, stamp, or logo on a PDF, then apply it to one page, a range, or the whole document.
- Add signature to PDFThe workspace below is built for contracts, forms, and sign-and-return tasks. Upload your PDF, add your signature, align it on the live preview, then choose whether it applies to the current page only, a custom page range, odd/even pages, or the full document. The same engine also powers our related stamp and logo pages.
- Add stamp to PDFUpload your PDF, then add your stamp as an image (transparent PNG works well) or draw a simple mark. Position it on the preview, choose which pages receive it—single page, range, all, or odd/even—and download. If you describe the task as signing instead of stamping, use Add signature to PDF; the underlying workspace is shared.
- Add logo to PDFUpload your PDF and your logo file (PNG with transparency or JPEG). Position and scale it on the preview—header, footer, or cover area—then apply to one page, a range, or all pages. For circular seals, see Add stamp to PDF; for handwritten marks, see Add signature to PDF.
- Batch stamp PDFUpload your PDF and your stamp image. Position it once on the preview, then use page scope options to cover a range or the entire document in a single apply step. You still work on one PDF file per session; the “batch” value is applying the same stamp across many pages without repeating clicks per page.
- Stamp PDF multiple pagesAfter you upload your PDF and stamp image, use the page controls to limit stamping to this page, a custom from–to range, all pages, or odd/even sets. The preview shows the active page so you can verify placement before you apply across the selected set.
- Apply stamp to all pages PDFUpload your PDF and stamp image, position it on the preview, then select the all-pages apply mode before you run apply. You get one output PDF with the stamp merged on each page at the same relative location. For partial coverage, use Stamp PDF multiple pages or Batch stamp PDF.

Convert from PDF
Export a PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, or plain text.
- PDF to ExcelUpload a text-based PDF, detect table-like grids, preview sample rows, choose which tables to export, and download a .xlsx file (one sheet per table). Built for invoices, statements, and grid-heavy reports—scanned PDFs without a text layer are not supported yet.

- PDF to WordUpload a PDF, choose pages, and download a .docx. Selectable text becomes paragraphs; pages without a text layer are inserted as images. Fonts, tables, and complex layouts will not match the original perfectly.
Convert to PDF
Turn JPG images, a Word document, or an HTML file into a PDF.
- HTML to PDFUpload a .html file and download a PDF. Scripts, frames, and external URLs are stripped first. Inline data: images (PNG/JPEG/GIF/WebP) can appear. CSS will not match a full web browser.
- JPG to PDFUpload one or more JPG/JPEG files, preview and reorder them, choose A4 or Letter, and download one PDF. Each image becomes its own page, scaled to fit. PNG, HEIC, and WebP are not supported in this version.
- Word to PDFUpload a .docx document and download a PDF. Tables, images, and page structure are kept when LibreOffice supports them. Fonts not installed on the server are substituted. This is not Microsoft Word rendering.
Protect and watermark
Add a password, remove one you already know, or stamp text on a PDF you are allowed to change. Permission flags are hints, not DRM.
- Protect PDFUpload an unprotected PDF, set an open password, and download an encrypted file. Optional permission flags ask readers not to print, copy, or edit; many apps still allow those actions after opening. Already-encrypted PDFs are rejected. Passwords are not stored.
- Unlock PDFUpload a password-protected PDF, enter the open or permissions password, and download an unlocked file. Confirm you have the right to unlock it. Unprotected files, wrong passwords, and certificate/DRM locks are rejected. Passwords are not stored.
- Watermark PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and stamp text on every page. Choose position, size, opacity, rotation, or a simple tiled pattern. The mark sits on top of existing content in Helvetica Bold. Encrypted files are rejected.
Edit and polish PDFs
Add text or an image, rotate, crop, resize, number pages, and clean up markup. Edit PDF is the page for marks on a page you already have.
- Bates numbering for PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and apply unique Bates stamps such as CASE-000001 on every page. Choose prefix, start, digit padding, corner, and size. Numbers stay sequential. Encrypted files are rejected. Not certified e-discovery software.
- Create PDF bookmarksUpload an unprotected PDF, add bookmarks from page thumbnails, nest and rename them, then download a file whose outline matches the tree you see. Existing outlines import when destinations map to page numbers. Encrypted files are rejected.
- Crop PDFUpload an unprotected PDF, drag a crop rectangle on the page preview, and apply it to this page, a range, or all pages. Targeted pages are rebuilt at the crop size; other pages are copied unchanged. Encrypted files are rejected.
- Edit PDF metadataUpload an unprotected PDF, review existing Info fields, edit title, author, subject, keywords, creator, and producer, and download. Page content is unchanged. XMP is not updated. Encrypted files are rejected.
- Edit PDFUpload an unprotected PDF, mark up the page, and download. New text uses Helvetica. A white cover hides an area but does not delete the text underneath. Scans have no clickable words.
- Extract images from PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and export the image files stored inside it. JPEGs are copied as stored; raw pixel images become PNG. Encrypted files are rejected. Not a full-page snapshot (use PDF to JPG for that).
- Flatten PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and flatten common AcroForm fields and annotations that have appearance streams. Leftovers are reported. Encrypted and XFA files are rejected.
- Grayscale PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and convert all pages, or a page range, to grayscale. Layout is preserved as far as Ghostscript allows. Encrypted files are rejected.
- Header and footer for PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and stamp Helvetica header and footer lines on every page. Tokens include page number, total pages, UTC date, and document title. Encrypted files are rejected.
- Page numbers for PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and stamp a page number on remaining pages after any skipped covers. Choose six positions, Arabic or lowercase Roman, a starting number, and an optional prefix. Encrypted files are rejected.
- Remove annotations from PDFUpload an unprotected PDF, choose annotation types to delete, and download a copy with that markup gone. Form fields and links stay. Encrypted files are rejected.
- Rename PDFUpload a PDF, type a new name, and download a copy. Content, encryption, and metadata are left unchanged. The .pdf extension is kept. This tool does not add -myedithub.com to the filename.
- Resize PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and map every page onto a standard paper size. Content is scaled to fit and centered. Landscape pages stay landscape. Encrypted files are rejected.
- Rotate PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and rotate pages 90, 180, or 270 degrees clockwise. Apply to all pages, a consecutive range, or selected pages. Content is not recompressed. Encrypted files are rejected.
Forms, signing, and OCR
Create fillable fields, fill an existing form, and make a scan searchable.
- Create PDF formsUpload an unprotected PDF, place text, checkbox, and radio widgets, and download a fillable AcroForm file. Encrypted and XFA files are rejected. No form JavaScript.
- Fill and sign PDFUpload an unprotected AcroForm PDF, fill text/checkbox/radio fields, optionally stamp a signature image, and download. Encrypted and XFA files are rejected. Not a digital certificate.
- OCR PDFUpload an unprotected PDF, choose English, French, German, or Spanish, and download a searchable copy. Pages that already have text are skipped. Encrypted and XFA files are rejected. Not handwriting recognition.
Repair and straighten
Straighten a slightly tilted scan, or rebuild a damaged PDF when recovery is possible. Some files are too damaged to recover.
- Deskew PDFUpload an unprotected PDF and download a copy with small scan tilt corrected. Pages with selectable text, or where the angle is unclear, stay unchanged. Not a 90° rotate and not perspective correction.
- Repair PDFUpload a PDF that will not open and download a rebuilt copy when the structure can be recovered. A healthy file is returned unchanged. Encrypted files and severe damage are rejected with no download.
Workflows and automation
